Learn To Live In The Now
Is there any other way to live life than living in the now? Of course not. We can’t live in yesterday. And we can’t live in tomorrow. We can only live in the now. But there are still so many people who try to live in yesterday or tomorrow.
Many people spend a lot of time worrying about tomorrow. With the result that their now is destroyed. They spend a lot of energy worrying about things that will never happen anyway. And some people take it even further and worry about things that have already happened and that no worry can change anyway.
By living like this a lot of people are missing out on many great momentsand opportunities that will pass them by without notice. Since our mind can only hold one thought at a time, they will automatically miss out on that moment that could have helped them or changed their whole situation. They miss out because their mind is occupied with negative thinking instead of positive thinking.
Positive thinking is not everything but it's a great start. You are the producer of your own life. Don’t spend it on negative thinking or worrying about things you can’t change anyway. My mentor always said “If you can make a great now you are preparing for an even greater future.”
How does that work? Preparation and discipline is the key to a great life. You’ve got to discipline yourself, take control of your thinking, and start planning your life. If you don’t have a plan you will end up in someone else’s plan. You need to fill your mind with great stuff like hope, belief and conviction. You’ve got to convince yourself that it's possible. There is nothing more rewarding than creative thinking. According to Napoleon Hill, “Whatever your mind can conceive and believe you can achieve.”
The rewards are reserved for the planters. Make sure you plant some great seeds in your own mind. Start living in the now, and be grateful and happy that you have the possibility to change. Whatever happened yesterday, there is another day today and that’s the greatest gift to man.The opportunity to change.
And remember you are not who you think you are. You are who you think you are.
